While reading Matthew's Gospel in 1986, God said "Look closer." I had just finished chapter six. My eyes settled on the phase "all these things," and the LORD said, "Look again." So, I did. What I noticed stunned me. Jesus used the phrase "all these things" three times in just two verses. It was from that prompting led me to the conclusion that the Lord was talking about food, clothing and drink alone.
